FURTHER FLOODING NOT EXPECTED TO DEVELOP WITH RAINFALL RISK EASING FLOOD IMPACTS TO CONTINUE OVER NEXT FEW DAYS Moderate to heavy rainfall was observed across the Flood Watch area during Friday and Saturday with the passage of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Narelle. This caused localised river and creek level rises, overland flooding, and minor to major riverine flooding across the Gascoyne and Lyndon-Minilya catchments. The risk of heavy rainfall and the development of further flooding have eased across the Flood Watch area. While further flooding is not expected to develop, elevated river and creek levels, areas of localised flooding and overland inundation are likely to continue over the next few days. Roads may be affected, and some communities may be isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
