ประเทศไทยตอนบนมีฝนฟ้าคะนองเพิ่มขึ้น กับมีลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นอีกระลอกหนึ่งได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ประกอบกับมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากอ่าวไทย และทะเลจีนใต้เข้าปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่บริเวณดังกล่าวมีอากาศร้อน สำหรับลมตะวันออกที่พัดปกคลุมภาคใต้ และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทำให้ภาคใต้จะมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง ส่วนบริเวณอ่าวไทยและทะเลอันดามันมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
