A flood alert has been issued. Flooding is possible over the evening high tides on Friday 20th September. High water at Falmouth on Friday evening is at 19:45, times of high water will vary along the coast. Sea conditions are expected to be calm due to high pressure, however still water conditions may still cause flooding to low lying roads and quaysides. Locations particularly at risk include low lying areas in Falmouth, Penryn, Flushing, Mylor Bridge, the A39 at Perranarworthal, Devoran, Calenick, Truro and the A390 at Tresillian Do not walk or drive through flood water or waves.
