After a wide range of user feedback and user votes, we have chosen to replace meteopink and return to the previous design of "meteoblue"; and, also, because the 1st of April (April Fools' Day) is over, and we have to return to the serious business of providing best-in-class weather information.
We appreciate the brilliant user comments and will take them to heart. Our next logo has already been proposed and will just have to undergo some styling adjustments before full launch.
Our survey also indicated a strong preference for "blue" :
- The first shock was heavy.....
- it scared and shocked the heck out of me!...
- this is hurting the eye un-necessarily...
- If the page stays pink I won't probably use it anymore....
- Is Corona not enough?
- meteoblue deserves better than pink....
Although some user segments really need more attention:
- OMG so sweeeeet !!!
- ... women will also now be at home in the pink surroundings!!
- i find the new website design and the new name simply top!
- please adapt the (blue) precipitation bars to the new (pink) colours! :-)
- it would be good for a cartoon website;
- maybe better these days to see things more rosy.
- I would prefer meteogreen...
- the first April fools' news that actually made me laugh...
