At 5:30 am on October 30, 2026, the Tonghua Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog [Level II/Severe]. Some towns (streets) in Dongchang District, Erdaojiang District, Tonghua Pharmaceutical High tech Development Zone, and Jilin Tonghua Land Port Economic Development Zone have experienced fog with visibility less than 200 meters and will continue to do so. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Observatory jointly remind citizens to pay attention to traffic safety when going out and drivers to drive cautiously.
