ประเทศไทยยังคงมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยเริ่มมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ในขณะที่มีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมบริเวณภาคเหนือ สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเริ่มมีกำลังแรงขึ้น โดยทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก รวมทั้งดินโคลนถล่ม โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางผ่านเส้นทางที่มีปัญหาน้ำท่วมซ้ำซาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขัง ในระยะสั้นได้ ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง
The monsoon trough move up to lying across the North and the Northeast of Thailand while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the country while isolated very heavy rain are possible in the North, the Northeast and the South (west coast) regions. The strengthening wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
