  • WHERE: A portion of southeast Florida, including the following counties, Broward and Palm Beach.

  • WHEN: Until 1000 PM EDT.

  • IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 741 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
    • Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
    • Some locations that will experience flooding include, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Tamarac, Wellington, Jupiter, Margate, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, Lighthouse Point, Palm Beach, Tequesta, Highland Beach and Juno Beach.
