  • WHERE: Portions of north central, northwest, and west central New Mexico, including the following areas, in north central New Mexico, Espanola Valley, Far Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, Northwest Highlands and Tusas Mountains Including Chama. In northwest New Mexico, Chuska Mountains and Northwest Plateau. In west central New Mexico, West Central Highlands, West Central Mountains and West Central Plateau.

  • WHEN: Through late tonight.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Numerous showers and storms will continue through the overnight hours. Locally heavy rainfall rates in excess of 1 half inch per hour will be capable of producing rapid runoff that can lead to flash flooding, particularly below recent burn scars and areas with saturated soils.
