The summit of the highest mountain in Africa reaches 5895 meters altitude and is tough to reach and even tougher to overpass. However, in December 2021, 15 hot air balloon teams made the first balloon crossing since 2011. Stefan Zeberli, a Swiss professional balloon pilot, leader of the ballon world ranking and user of meteoblue services, recounts the experience.
Since 2018, meteoblue has been part of the SmartAgriHubs EU project about the digital transformation of the European Agrifood Sector. The final event took place in Lisbon, Portugal, at the end of September 2022.
