ISO9001 Certified

We now have the official approval of the meteoblue quality management system. ISO9001:2015 certification confirms that the meteoblue data and services conform to high industry standards.

meteoblue provides weather and climate data of high quality and has delivered them reliably since 2006. As meteoblue grows, we have formalised our effective quality management system and obtained an ISO9001:2015 certification.

ISO9001 ensures that the company and its services are optimised for:

  1. Customer Orientation: Processes ensure that customer requirements are continuously monitored and their fulfilment improved - transparency of our offer, data accuracy, and customer feedback are key elements of these processes.
  2. Leadership: The company goals and mission statement and goal-oriented management are set.
  3. Employee Involvement: Regularly determine the training needs of its employees and implement appropriate measures to fulfil customer requirements.
  4. Process-oriented approach: All business processes are managed to ensure that customer requirement are met, and processes are constantly improved. Rules are in place for defining and solving current problems and issues and determining critical figures for these processes.
  5. Systems-oriented management approach: This principle looks at the entire process network of the company to ensure that they are goal oriented.
  6. Constant improvement: This includes improving products and services and the best possible fulfilment of customer requirements and should be the mantra of every company.
  7. Factual approach to decision-making: decisions are made based on proven data and facts and using proven decision methods, such as e.g. statistical analysis, value and process analysis and scenario planning.
  8. Mutually Beneficial Supplier Relationships: These must be defined, monitored and improved according to ISO 9001 to generate mutual benefit for both sides.

Organisations which observe these Quality Management principles and document all their processes and procedures understandably can receive certification by an accredited certification body. The aim of certification according to ISO 9001 is to ensure that the quality management system is suitable for meeting customer requirements and continuous improvement. Only very few companies in the weather business have obtained such a certification.

This "external set of eyes" gives us an independent assessment of meteoblue quality management. meteoblue operational practice has always been quality-oriented. ISO 9001:2015 certification proves that and provides us with a framework for further systematic improvement. Of course, part of this process is your feedback!
