Značka polohy je umiestnená na Markha. Táto animácia zobrazuje zrážkový radar pre vybraný časový rozsah, ako aj predpoveď na 2h. Oranžové krížiky označujú blesky. Údaje poskytuje nowcast.de (dostupné v USA, Európe a Austrálii). Mrholenie alebo ľahké sneženie môže byť pre radar neviditeľné. Intenzita zrážok je farebne kódovaná od tyrkysovej po červenú.
Snímka zo satelitu v reálnom čase kombinuje viditeľné svetlo počas dňa s infračerveným žiarením počas noci. V noci obraz nie je tmavý, pretože infračervené žiarenie dokáže zistiť rozdiely teploty. Nízke oblaky a hmla sa však od teploty povrchu odlišujú ťažko, a preto môžu byť v noci takmer neviditeľné. Satelitné snímky Meteosat pre Európu sa aktualizujú v reálnom čase každých 5 minút. Snímky GOES-16/GOES-17 (Severná a Južná Amerika) a Himawari (Ázia) sa aktualizujú každých 10 minút.
Zrážky sa odhadujú z radaru a satelitov. Odhady zrážok zo satelitov sú v noci menej presné ako cez deň.
